The ARMA International Conference in Orlando is right around the corner and your Region Team is looking forward to meeting you. We have over 125 members from the Northeast Region attending the conference this year. We look forward to rekindling old friendships and meeting our newest members (see list of new members below) at the Region Meet and Greet Reception that will be held at the Marriott on Wednesday, October 14 from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Light appetizers and soft drinks are complimentary. A cash bar will also be available.
A new networking event "The Young Professionals Network" event will be hosted this year at Conference at 6:30 pm immediately following the Region Meet and Greet. Network with other young Professionals and enjoy light hors d'oeuvres and your favorite beverage in an upbeat contemporary setting (40 years and younger).
Region Team Assignments
To more efficiently serve you, the Region team will be assigned to support specific chapters. This year's assignments are as follows:
Steve Lastres: Connecticut, Long Island, Central New York, and Western New York Chapters
Cindi LeMay: Boston and Central New Jersey Chapters
David Pita: Metropolitan New York and Northern New Jersey Chapters.

New Web Site The Region's web site is now one year old and with a new look. Please remember to visit www.armanortheast.org to learn about Chapter and Region events. The purpose of the site is to promote Chapter, Region and ARMA International events and to promote the RIM profession. We also link to all of the Chapter web sites throughout our Region. On the site you can find a Speaker directory submitted by chapters who have had a positive experience with speakers on various RIM topics. You will also find a Resources page that links you to other RIM related web pages that may be of interest.
I look forward to meeting many of you in Orlando for the ARMA International Conference. A list of upcoming events can be found in the "DATES TO REMEMBER" section of this newsletter.
